Summit Conservation Strategies LLC is a mission-driven consulting firm founded in 2016 to support nonprofit, government, and corporate clients in design and implementation of effective conservation programs. 

Summit Conservation specializes in development and pragmatic real-world implementation of voluntary, market-based strategies to incentivize conservation and resource stewardship. Primary practice areas include energy efficiency, water markets and river restoration, and conservation finance. We research and design markets and market-based tools to incentivize sustainable use of resources. 

Summit Conservation currently serves clients located throughout the Western United States on projects including energy efficiency program strategy, water market design, and economic analysis of environmental restoration projects. The firm has extensive experience in energy efficiency planning and implementation, water transaction program design, development and implementation of auctions and other transactional approaches to water right acquisition, economic valuation, conservation finance, and conservation program strategy across the West.
